 The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Section is investigating a sexual assault in the Centertown area of Ottawa on August 14, 2013.
A 26-year-old woman reported to police that at about 9:30 pm she was walking down the canal access stairs near Rideau Street when she became unconscious. When she awoke a short while later she had reason to believe she was sexually assaulted. No suspect was present.
